GMO testing at OMIC USA is more than just analysis. It’s an art form.
Headed by Chong Singsit, PhD., a long time GMO and DNA veteran, OMIC USA has taken exceptional care to select the best and brightest crew of elite analysts from the scientific world. Facilitated by University of Oregon biology graduate Dale Eakins, our DNA lab is on the forefront of the growing demand for GMO analysis and detection.
The art of GMO testing comes from the ability to detain and carefully study the genetic materials of extracted DNA strands. With the help of an in-house Polymerase Chain Reaction detector, or "PCR," we can check samples for qualitative "yes/no" results or for quantitative percentages of contamination.
Specially designed, air-controlled positive and negative pressure environmental rooms are part of our facilities' schematics; this prevents contamination that might otherwise cause the lab's sensitive instruments to generate unreliable results. Continuous research on the latest GMO alterations, procedures, and methods also enables us to rapidly and effectively integrate new U.S. and international protocol and certification requirements.

Precision isn’t just in the instrumentation or the environmental conditions; it is also created in the major founding principles of any good laboratory. OMIC USA is committed to offering its GMO customers the greatest in quality control, rapid turnaround times, customer service and the most competitive pricing in the market. We are proud to have received ISO 17025 certification in GMO detection and to be involved in ongoing work with the European Union, Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA), Japanese Ministry of Health (MHLW), and many local American research and development facilities and accreditation boards.
